In terms of Allocations you will need to provide professional, consistent medical advice to help
the Council prioritise applicants’ requests for priority on our housing register, awarding medical priority.

In terms of vulnerability, you will need to provide prompt, professional advice to assist when
medical issues are involved in part VII homeless-vulnerability cases.

Candidate Profile
Experience
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a local authority housing setting, or a medical assessment role. Educated to a good, standard with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Knowledge
Knowledge of Housing Act 1996
Part V1, Localism Act 2011 and
relevant legislation, good

Knowledge of medical and
social welfare aspects of
housing relating to
