The purpose of the post is to manage the recording and ongoing record keeping of the council’s highways assets through the updating and analysis of our corporate databases and mapping systems, and to be a key point of contact for any internal or external enquiries. This work is to ensure that the details and inventory of the council’s infrastructure is properly managed, supporting the provision of data across the council and for formal submissions to government, and the correct allocation of funding can be achieved.

This is for a fixed period of 4 years
The successful candidate will be required to work at the Civic Offices and at home, as the work demands, and set days are not to be established.

Candidate Profile
Interested candidates must hold GSCE A-C grades or equivalent, to demonstrate literacy, numeracy, and adequate educational standard.
